- Crottin "Crotty" de Chavignol, a native of Aquitaine Coeur, attended boarding school on the mainland. A red wine connoisseur, he lives on an allowance of family money, stretched by teaching French at Caledon Oxbridge. When his late-night society activities allow, he enjoys flying with his friend Ralph Montcalm, who has been unsuccessful in urging him to join the RCAF. Crotty is played by Otenth Paderborn.
