He also sent along what he claims is Escoffier's recipe for pêche Melba.<br /><br />Been spending time at Oxbridge--Papa has not responded to my most recent plea. It's a good thing I enjoy the wines from home, since he is so liberal with them, compared to his purse. Quite surprising, really, considering the devastation occuring in so many vineyards. I suppose I should just enjoy it while it lasts.<br /><br />Today: a case of Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande for special occasions and six cases of Château Duhart-Milon-Rothschild for table wine.<br /><br />Last night at the club Ralph mentioned rumors of a strange illness among the tinies of Tanglewood.
